he V2G-QUESTS project was featured during the Europe Day event at the Utrecht Provincial House. The event was organized to inform visitors about the role of European cooperation and funding in regional projects within the Province of Utrecht.
As part of the exhibition, a project poster explained the goals and activities of V2G-QUESTS (Vehicle to Grid for Equitable Zero-Emission Transitions in Positive Energy Districts). The project focuses on the integration of electric vehicles into the energy system, aiming to support grid balancing, enable the use of renewable energy sources, and explore the role of electric vehicles as flexible energy assets.
A pilot project in the Utrecht district of Kanaleneiland was highlighted as one of the local implementations. The poster also showed the European scope of the project, which involves partners in Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Greece, Spain, and Portugal, along with Dutch participants such as TU Delft, HAN, Stedin, Energie-U, and the Vereniging Elektrische Rijders.
Europe Day in Utrecht offered a platform for showcasing various EU-supported initiatives that are currently active in the region. The V2G-QUESTS project is supported by NWO and co-financed through the EU’s Driving Urban Transitions partnership.
